00:03 >> Notre Dame, if there isn't a kill, he's healed of this defense,
00:06 it's this right here.
00:07 It's the rush defense.
00:09 And we saw this against against Clemson last week,
00:12 where they really struggled stopping the run.
00:15 And they didn't give up, they gave up the one big play and
00:17 then it was just grinding it out, just grinding it out throughout the game.
00:20 They gave up 185 rushing yards in Louisville, 189 to Duke.
00:24 And you just, you can't allow that to happen.
00:28 And this is the matchup to me that's gonna have the biggest impact in this game.
00:32 Because if you shut down the run game, Wake Forest really has no chance.
00:37 They are really gonna struggle.
00:39 And if you look at the few times that the wake offense has been solid,
00:44 in my opinion, it's been able to run the football.
00:48 Their best output of the season this year so far,
00:51 Vanderbilt, they had 484 yards, they ran a football.
00:54 They ran for 288 in that game.
00:56 You look at a couple weeks later against Georgia Tech, where the offense had 400
00:59 yards and had their third or fourth best yards per play of the season.
01:03 They've had 224 rushing yards.
01:05 You look at the Pitt game where they won that game, they were over five yards per
01:09 play for only one of four times this entire season.
01:12 What helped them?
01:13 They were able to run the football.
01:15 They had a really tough matchup against Duke, had 400 yards of offense,
01:18 6.1 yards per play, which is the third best output of the season.
01:21 They ran for 159 yards in that game, which allowed them to have enough balance to
01:25 then go make some plays in the pass game.
01:27 And so they were able to throw for 241 yards that game.
01:29 Last week against NC State, pass game couldn't do anything.
01:32 Why? Cuz they couldn't run the football.
01:34 They only had seven rushing yards.
01:35 Virginia Tech, they couldn't do anything on offense.
01:37 They only had 262 yards of offense that game.
01:39 Why?
01:40 They couldn't run the football.
01:41 And so that's gonna be a really big key to this for Notre Dame,
01:46 is to be able to go out and shut down the run game.
01:49 Because
