00:00 >> Miller, talk about your career here if you could, Miller,
00:04 and how it's ended up and whether you feel like it's been what you wanted,
00:10 rewarding or.
00:11 >> My career here for me has been basically a blessing.
00:15 It's been a journey, a lot of ups and downs, but learned a lot, grew a lot.
00:20 So I'm thankful for everything I went through here, been through.
00:24 >> You feel like you're playing your best football in your career right now?
00:28 >> No, I still got a lot of work to do.
00:30 I got to work, get a lot better, but
00:33 playing more mature, more comfortable than I've ever played so far, so yeah.
00:38 >> You've been around, as well as guys around this program for a long time.
00:46 Going to Norman has been pretty tough for you guys in recent years.
00:49 What do you tell those guys about going up there and playing in that atmosphere?
00:53 >> I mean, I feel like any away game or any opponent's home is
00:59 something to prepare for, so it's really like Josh was saying,
01:05 we just focus on this week and then once we get there,
01:10 the whole thing back, playing all of those.
01:13 >> What have you seen from the defense and
01:15 the way you guys have just kind of improved the last game to have?
01:17 >> I've seen from the defense, more guys stepping up, young guys,
01:22 more from the by the end to what the program believes in, the culture.
01:27 >> Some of the youngsters that we've seen play, Janelle and I think Randall,
01:33 they got some playing time down the street.
01:34 What have they kind of just shown you in their first, no, action on the field?
01:37 >> They're very athletic players.
01:43 They have the capability to be starters now, so I think it'll be great in the future.
01:50 >> When you left O'Connor to go to Fork Union,
01:52 did you ever worry that you wouldn't play Division I football?
01:57 >> I was a little worried there.
02:00 And I didn't really know what my next move would be or
02:03 how the press could go for me.
02:07 But it kind of put my, drove me a little bit, maybe, get things done.
02:13 >> And then, so you're at Fork Union, when did the offers start coming right away?
02:18 >> No, they did this more towards the end.
02:20 After we had got a couple games in, a couple wins, and
02:23 then that's when we started staying in college.
02:26 >> And then what stood out for TCU, cuz you had other chances?
02:29 >> I mean, TCU gave me an offer before I went to prep school.
02:36 So I think they just came back around,
02:38 saying that I hadn't committed anywhere, and gave me an opportunity.
02:44 >> How much does it, or has it helped y'all's defense the last couple weeks
02:49 when your offense is clicking the way it is?
02:51 >> I think it gives us a little bit more confidence, but
02:56 at the same time, we try to focus on defense.
02:59 But yeah, I feel like it helps us work with our,
03:03 I guess I can say confidence, just a little bit more confidence.
03:09 >> Like Josh was saying, their coordinator is Coach Brown's brother-in-law,
03:13 come from the same coaching tree.
03:15 So how much do you think it helps,
03:17 knowing that you guys have seen this style of offense, the tempo,
03:21 pretty much the whole season, every day in practice?
03:24 >> I think it helps a lot, preparation for the things they do.
03:28 We see it, like you say, in practice all the time.
03:31 So it's like, we have the answer for a lot of things they do.
03:33 [BLANK_AUDIO]
03:38 >> Any other questions?
03:39 [BLANK_AUDIO]
03:40 >> Okay, thank you.
03:41 >> Appreciate it.
