00:00 Texas Longhorns defensive tackle Byron Murphy accepted an invitation to the 75th annual
00:05 Reese's Senior Bowl.
00:07 Murphy will travel to Mobile, Alabama to play in the college football All-Star Game on February
00:12 3, 2024.
00:13 The 6'1", 308-pound run stopper is set to graduate this year and was recognized before
00:20 Friday's matchup against Texas Tech during the Senior Night Ceremony.
00:24 Although Murphy has not officially declared to enter into the NFL Draft this year, his
00:29 acceptance to play in the Senior Bowl is a good indicator that he will.
00:33 However, Murphy could possibly wait until the Longhorns play their final game to officially
00:38 declare anything about his future.
00:40 According to Pro Football Focus, Murphy is one of the highest-ranked interior defensive
00:45 linemen in all of college football.
00:47 This season, Murphy has recorded a total of 24 tackles, 10 of which are solo and 14 assisted.
00:54 He also totaled five sacks, seven quarterback hurries, and even scored an offensive touchdown.
01:00 Joining Murphy, offensive lineman Christian Jones also accepted his invitation to the
01:05 Senior Bowl.
