Holistic Hub Derbyshire opens at Staveley Cemetery Chapel

00:00 Hello, I'm Linda from Holistic Health Hub Derbyshire. We're based in Staveley, Chestfield.

00:05 We're a holistic approach to health and well-being. We all have the tools within to

00:10 tap into feelings of well-being mentally, physically. We offer classes in the aerial

00:17 arts, so that's silks, aerial yoga, trapeze, hoop, rope. We also offer floor-based activities,

00:23 so that can be mat yoga, Pilates. We've got community events, we've got craft workshops,

00:31 etc. And this is all geared towards children and adults. So it's getting together, it's

00:38 getting that feel-good factor, and it's working towards a better you.

00:42 What are the future plans with the rest of the building?

00:45 Oh, the future plans. The head's very busy. The aerial world and probably the yoga world is very

00:52 dominated by able-bodied people. So we're looking to open the activities to people with challenges,

00:59 whether that be mobility challenges, mental well-being challenges. We're also moving into

01:05 addiction and social isolation, and such an array of challenges that we're hoping we can

01:15 make a difference to.
