00:00 [Sounds of a train passing by]
00:13 Well, I think 40's not too bad because it's a pretty busy road, being a highway.
00:20 So, you know, yes, the 40's good because it protects the pedestrians and people like us,
00:27 little girls in wheelchairs, and they're not going too fast.
00:32 So I think it's a good idea.
00:36 We're from Sydney, so in our CBD it's already 40 kilometres, so I guess we're sort of used to it.
00:43 But I think in the main street it's keeping people safe, so I think it's a good idea,
00:48 if it's for the well-being of the people on the street.
00:51 Can I just say ditto? Yeah, no, it makes sense.
00:57 And I think, you know, if you have a lot of visitors coming into town,
01:00 they're probably already used to the 40's.
01:03 If anything, I think the issue that we have in Sydney is often the lack of signage.
01:09 So as long as you know well in advance that, OK, this is the speed limit and stuff,
01:15 then I think it should be fine. Yeah.
01:18 I think it's a bit silly.
01:22 Cars, you can't, I drive an automatic car, and it doesn't change gears properly at that speed,
01:29 so I don't know, I just think it's a bit silly.
01:32 So what's it going to be, like 30 kilometres at the school zones now, or, I don't know,
01:37 it just doesn't make any sense to me.
01:41 No, I personally think it's a very good idea.
01:44 I've never felt comfortable driving at 50 in the main street.
01:49 There are too many lights around the pubs to go to that speed anyway,
01:53 plus the streets aren't that wide.
01:55 I think it's a very positive move.
01:59 .
