00:00 Hi, Elizabeth. Hi Emily. Hi everybody. How you doing? Hi. I'm recording on my end and
00:09 you have 10 minutes. Perfect. Thank you so much. Jodi, thank you for taking the time
00:14 to talk to me today. How are you? How is everything first of all? Everything is going well. I'm
00:19 up here in Canada for work now that the strike is over. So things are going good. It's yeah,
00:23 but life is life is happily moving along. Holidays are coming. I don't know if I'm prepared
00:29 yet, but we'll see. I really hear you on that. I'm not ready for the winter holiday shopping
00:34 at all. Before I jump into questions about your partnership with Align, you just mentioned
00:40 you're in Canada back to work. I'm very happy to hear that for everyone in the union. What
00:46 apart from the projects that you've already completed, the ones that either premiered
00:51 or are premiering soon, can you talk about the ones that you're working on now in Canada?
00:56 Is there any teas you can't talk about the ones I'm working on yet? It's I can say it's
01:02 for Hallmark, but I can't get any more specific than that. But we but they will see in 2024.
01:07 Then I'll get to talk about it. But it is nice to be back working. And, you know, during
01:13 the strike, it was trying to shift things around and do different stuff and live comedy
01:19 and how rude Tanneritos, the full house rewatch podcast and all that stuff. So, yeah, it's
01:24 just a little bit of a shift. But now it's back to the back to the usual habits of work.
01:29 I love hearing that. And you actually answered one of my questions, what you were doing during
01:33 the strike and all of that. So thank you for mentioning. Yeah. So with Align, do you want
01:38 to take me through that? And like what how can people benefit from this? And I would
01:43 love to. So I am 41 now, technically a millennial. I think they call us aging millennials now.
01:51 That's really painful. But, you know, I just have noticed as I've like gotten a little
01:58 bit older, my body just was not functioning the way that it used to. It just I felt bloated.
02:03 I would eat things that I used to normally be fine with. And I just felt like like Thanksgiving
02:10 Day balloon, you know, just sort of get it. And it was, you know, just that occasional
02:16 like bloating, digestive feeling where you're like, oh, I just don't feel great. And so,
02:23 you know, for me, I I realized that I was like constantly sharing it with my friends
02:28 was like, oh, my God, I'm so bloated. And they were like, me, too. And so it was like
02:32 we had this little kind of bloating bandwagon that we were all on. And and so I started
02:36 looking into products that would be really easy to incorporate into my like daily regimen
02:41 that I already have. I didn't you know, I didn't want anything that had to be refrigerated
02:46 or I wanted something that was just super simple and easy. And I started taking the
02:50 Align bloating relief and food digestion. And I noticed such a huge difference. I started
02:56 taking it and I was working actually at the time. And I had to laugh because we were in
03:01 hair and makeup, which I always say is the place to find all of the best information.
03:07 If you're looking for like health care tips, skin care, gossip, any of it had to hair and
03:11 makeup. And we just had some new caterers that started on the production. And the food
03:17 was delicious, but it was definitely like a little more stick to your ribs kind of heavy
03:21 comfort food. And I was in hair and makeup after lunch and our third AD came in and she
03:26 was like, I feel so bloated. I was like, oh, you know, you should try Align this bloating
03:32 relief and food digestion. And I had, I was like laughing. I'm like, I'm a commercial.
03:37 Like I am like a hidden camera here. Have I like, you know, become that person now.
03:45 And anyway, I was just, I realized that like it actually made a difference. And I was like,
03:52 well, I really love partnering with brands and things that, that really work. And I don't,
03:58 you know, I, I'm, I want to make sure that the things that I'm talking about are things
04:02 that I actually use and that I actually like, and I have noticed such a huge difference.
04:06 And Thanksgiving was way different. I mean, let's be real. We all eat a lot of foods at
04:12 the holidays that only come around once a year, lots of sugar, butter, cream, all the
04:17 good, rich, delicious stuff. But your body is like, what are you doing? This is like,
04:23 you know, stop, this is crazy. And I noticed, I just felt so much better after taking it.
04:29 It just like there's B12 vitamins in it too. So it helps break down like proteins and fats
04:34 gives you more energy. It's got, you know, it's one capsule a day and it's got five different
04:39 digestive enzymes in it and it doesn't need refrigeration. So like I have it with me all
04:44 the time. I can throw it in my purse. Yeah. And it's really, really been easy to take.
04:49 I am so excited that I found something that works and that I don't have to like constantly
04:57 remind myself to do or take it's one a day. It's not three times a day. It's not after
05:02 I eat, I don't have to wait 20 minutes, you know, none of that stuff. And I've noticed
05:06 just such a huge difference, particularly when I'm on set working and I have to like
05:09 eat lunch and then get into some, you know, gown or something for a scene and, you know,
05:15 feeling like, you know, a giant balloon is not exactly what you want.
05:20 Yeah, absolutely. I understand. Oh, I just want to point out. I'm sorry. I don't know
05:26 why in the chat, like this transcription service that we use, it's called Otter. It just showed
05:30 up and said something. I'm sorry for that message. I just wanted to clear that up. I
05:35 saw AI has already. Yeah. I hate AI. So that's why when I saw AI, I literally went, what
05:40 is that? No, it's evil. No, literally. That's why I'm not union, but I just fully supported
05:47 SAG-AFTRA and the WGI. I was like, yep, no AI. Anyway. Yeah. Yeah. I think, yeah, I think
05:51 we're all in that place now. Yeah, absolutely. Anyway, I'm sorry to interrupt you. I just
05:55 saw that. I wanted to clear that up. So you mentioned before that you were reaching out
06:00 to friends just to kind of share like, and obviously on set with just other crew members
06:05 and everybody like, Hey, I, Oh God, I feel so bloated. I don't feel good about myself.
06:09 I think I heard somewhere that you also have texted your friend, Andrea Barber, who you've
06:14 worked with on Full House, Fuller House. I don't know if I'm correct in saying this,
06:18 but you guys might be doing social content to promote it. Yeah, we're doing some social
06:22 content together for it. And you know, it came about cause I mean, Andrea and I have
06:26 known each other basically our whole lives. So there's no topic that's like off limits
06:31 at this point. And after you work together while, you know, and you've lived through
06:35 some craft services and traveling abroad together, you definitely can have those conversations.
06:40 And yeah, she and I would, I'd be like, Oh, I'm so bloated. Like, what is the deal? I
06:46 haven't really, you know, and it's, it has been stuff that's like over the years where
06:50 you're like, I used to eat this just fine. And now all of a sudden, like, I don't, I
06:54 feel gross. I feel bloated. And so she and I would talk about it. And especially, you
06:58 know, you're out doing press tours or on set and you're always looking for things to help
07:03 combat that feeling because it's just not the feeling that you want to have when you're
07:07 working or doing anything like you want to feel like you want to curl up in a ball and
07:10 go to bed. So yeah, she and I kind of became bloat buddies and talking about that. Yeah,
07:19 our different ways to like, how do we feel the best about ourselves and you know, not
07:25 have to just feel gross about the stuff that we eat and not be constantly worrying about,
07:31 you know, do I like, do I look bad or do I look gross or do it, you know, and just having
07:36 your body feel like it's running smoothly and having more energy. That's one thing I
07:40 noticed too, is like, my energy level has been so much better since I started taking
07:45 this. Cause I just feel like it's helping my entire gut function better. And they say
07:51 that's like your second brain or something is your gut. And it really helps, like it
07:55 helps your body to function so much better. And I really have noticed that like, I don't
08:01 feel like I need a nap in the afternoon. I just feel like everything is kind of functioning
08:07 at a much better level.
08:08 Running running good. Yeah. I think this is for women too. Cause like, I mean, I struggle
08:13 with it too. And like, I mean, I feel like so many of all ages like struggle with this
08:17 and like, obviously not just when we're at our time of the month and everything, but
08:20 like, yeah, I think my ages, it just happens. So I really like hearing about this. Thank
08:24 you.
08:25 And you know, I do too. And I, I, it's been something that I'm like, look, I know if I'm
08:28 talking about this with my friends, like, this is something that we're all going through.
08:33 And again, as you know, millennials who are edging into our forties we, you know, our
08:38 bodies are just like, what happened? This is different. And so I I'm always looking
08:43 for ways that I can just kind of keep up my, my health in easy ways and, you know, not
08:48 feel like a Thanksgiving day balloon after I eat things that I really love.
08:53 I'm so with you. If I may, I'm just going to ask you one more question. I don't want
08:58 to take up too much of your time because I want to hear more about this, but I can't
09:01 wait to see what else you say about it online with Andrea. I watched both full house and
09:07 fuller house just front to back. I, I just love the shows. I just think it was really
09:11 heartwarming and everything. And obviously you were brilliant in them so much for all
09:15 I'll, I'll get out of your hair now. Thank you so much, Jodi. Thank you all for setting
09:20 this up and Jodi, I hope you have a great week and I hope you meet again. You're, you're
09:24 so great to talk to and it's a privilege to meet you. I'm such a big, thank you so much.
09:28 I really appreciate that. Thanks for taking the time today.
