00:00 All right, we've got a travel forecast here for tomorrow,
00:02 which is going to leave the windy city
00:04 having some problems perhaps,
00:06 especially people that are driving.
00:08 I think the airport's going to be okay,
00:09 but Chicago will have a light wintry mix,
00:12 especially early in the day
00:13 that could bring you some slick roads.
00:15 A coating to an inch of snow is possible.
00:18 Also a departing storm in New England
00:20 is going to get out of the picture.
00:21 So that's improving conditions for you.
00:23 But here in the Northwest,
00:24 we've been talking about the atmospheric river.
00:27 Surges of moisture are going to be coming in there
00:30 through Tuesday, flooding downpours in the city,
00:33 in the foothills.
00:34 It's going to be dangerous
00:35 whether you're traveling by land
00:37 or some of the airports may even have some issues as well.
00:39 So those are the big areas.
00:41 Chicago down into the lower Great Lakes
00:44 and then also up into the Pacific Northwest
00:46 where there'll be some delays here from Seattle to Portland
00:50 and into other portions of Western Oregon.
00:53 By Wednesday, that heavy rain
00:55 will make its way into Northern California.
00:57 Looking at Tuesday across the Great Lakes,
00:59 you've got some issues here around Lake Michigan
01:01 with some rain and snow.
01:02 Again, a coating to an inch of snow is possible
01:05 in Chicago, in Detroit.
01:07 And as we head farther east toward Erie, PA,
01:10 the travel delays will be minor.
01:11 But if you're, again, driving in the morning
01:14 and again in the evening tomorrow,
01:15 there could be some slippery roads
01:17 with some light rain and snow.
