00:00 Anyone traveling this weekend folks.
00:01 It's really all about the Northeast
00:03 and the East Coast because that's
00:04 where we have this big storm brewing.
00:07 It's moving up the coast as we speak,
00:09 sending a lot of moisture our way.
00:11 But let's examine these travel delays
00:13 due to the weather on Saturday.
00:15 We see some issues in the Great Lakes,
00:17 mainly due to wind and some rain
00:19 as you head toward the East Coast.
00:21 It's New York and northward.
00:22 We're going to have big problems
00:24 with traveling on Saturday.
00:25 Meantime, out in the West,
00:27 there could be a little bit of fog
00:29 and cloudiness which can be that
00:30 sneaky thing that delays your flights.
00:32 That could be happening for you in
00:34 Seattle and Portland to start start
00:36 your weekend also down in Los Angeles.
00:38 As a chance for some fog in the
00:40 morning on Saturday which could
00:41 impede your travel and it's pretty
00:43 hot out there away from the coast.
00:45 Meantime, Saturday in the
00:46 upper Midwest here,
00:47 we've got some wind and that'll
00:49 be the primary concern here,
00:51 especially in the morning for you in
00:53 Minneapolis and the winds will diminish.
00:55 After that, otherwise we got the
00:56 wind and some showers and some
00:58 showers into portions of the lower
01:00 Great Lakes in the Ohio Valley.
01:01 Minor delays possible.
01:02 Major delays expected in the Boston
01:04 area and for much of New England as
01:06 we head through Saturday into Saturday
01:08 night and there will be rain on
01:10 Saturday in the big cities New York,
01:12 southward to Washington DC and the
01:13 wind will really kick in as well.
01:15 Later into Saturday night,
01:16 so that could give you some
01:18 delays in all those airports,
01:19 but this is the big storm here, folks.
01:22 It's moving up the coast as
01:23 we head through the weekend,
01:25 and that's why Saturday and Sunday.
01:26 there'll be a lot more delays in the airports than there will be moving forward.
