00:00 OK, the Accuweather US flight cancellation forecast.
00:02 We're the only outlet that will
00:03 give you this a prediction of how
00:06 many flights will get canceled
00:07 over a five day stretch.
00:08 And if you look at what's happening here,
00:11 it's not good news.
00:12 We get a little bit more flights
00:14 expected to be canceled with each
00:15 day as we head into early next week.
00:18 Yeah, just in time for Thanksgiving week travel,
00:20 but we're not there yet.
00:21 We have to get through our Friday 1st and
00:24 here are the travel delays for tomorrow.
00:26 There'll be some wind and rain here
00:28 in Chicago and Buffalo.
00:29 That's an area we're going to be
00:31 watching for some rain.
00:32 Nashville, Tennessee could see
00:33 a shower come through this storm
00:35 here that's going up the coast.
00:37 It could impact you on the outer banks,
00:39 but the rest of the Southeast you'll
00:41 have improving weather conditions.
00:43 Let's take it to the to the Northeast
00:45 and the Great Lakes here from Chicago
00:46 to Detroit there will be some breezy
00:48 conditions. Winds could gust up to 30
00:50 miles an hour and sometimes that
00:52 gives you some minor flight delays,
00:53 but there'll be some showers spilling
00:55 into the eastern Great Lakes and
00:56 into the Appalachians. As I mentioned
00:58 earlier, that will be beneficial for
01:00 some of the wildfires that have been
01:02 burning in the central Appalachians.
01:03 And you got the rain coming at you here
01:05 into upstate New York, northern New England.
01:07 But the big cities here from Boston
01:09 down to New York City, Philly DC.
01:11 You're looking good for traveling tomorrow.
01:13 We're not expecting any weather delays there.
01:15 Farther South,
01:16 there'll be some shower activity in the
01:18 morning, especially in Jacksonville,
01:19 and then later in the day up here
01:21 into the outer banks of North Carolina.
01:23 You could see some heavy rain
01:25 and you could see some heavy downpours
01:27 and some gusty winds as well.
01:29 But as you head farther West here,
01:31 folks, it's a good day to travel on this
01:33 Friday from Dallas to Oklahoma City
01:35 and down to the Gulf Coast back into
01:37 California. The heavier rain tomorrow
01:38 is going to be from the Bay Area of
01:41 San Francisco northward, Southern California.
01:43 You'll get your next chance of rain on Saturday.
