00:00 Here come the Philadelphia Eagles for some Sunday night football action against the Dallas Cowboys.
00:05 I'm Bri Marantis with Mike Fisher. We're here at the star Dallas Cowboys headquarters.
00:10 What do you think is the number one key to victory for the Cowboys this month?
00:13 I think making sure that your emotions are in control and funneled.
00:19 I don't want to break this to everybody, but I'm obliged to.
00:23 Even though this seems like an all for the, like for all the marbles.
00:27 It's actually, if you look at the standings and the likelihood, it's less important than the world thinks it is.
00:33 Because if the Cowboys win, they'll move into first place in the NFC East, but they still won't be favored to win the division.
00:41 Because of the way things will go down the stretch.
00:44 And if the Cowboys lose, they're still very likely to go to the playoffs.
00:49 So in that sense, the Cowboys are destined to be a wild card, likely, no matter what.
00:56 And so maybe that knowledge would help calm you a little bit, because it's going to be a nerve-wracking.
01:01 Oh, and what an atmosphere.
01:03 High intensity. And we'll be there, of course, and proud to be there representing not only the Eagles fans that want a piece of the Cowboys, but Cowboys fans too.
01:12 We're fair. We're NFL.
01:14 But in the case of the Eagles, we can say this, and this, I don't think this is a Cowboy bias.
01:19 I think this is a fair observation.
01:20 The Eagles last week, Sunday night against the 49ers, got a little too over-emotional.
01:27 And not just Big Dom, but others.
01:31 Is Big Dom making the trip down to Dallas?
01:33 I have been... People think I'm half-joking or joking when I say he really shouldn't be allowed.
01:40 He violated all sorts of rules and codes and ethical boundaries.
01:48 The security guy all of a sudden made the place less secure.
01:53 And the NFL, maybe by Sunday we'll have done something, but the NFL has to take action.
01:58 He's basically a fan in a polo shirt as he stands on the sideline.
02:02 There's no other role there except to make sure a snowball doesn't hit the head coach.
02:06 His role is not to intervene.
02:08 And I didn't like that tackle.
02:10 I think I'll go out and puff my chest into the guy on the other team.
02:14 But all that emotion, and a lot of that comes from the head coach in Philadelphia, Nick Suriani.
02:18 Who at the very start of his career in Philadelphia did Dallas Week by saying, "Beat Dallas."
02:24 Remember the "Beat Dallas" t-shirt?
02:26 And he later said that was a mistake.
02:28 That got us too...
02:29 Well, with all due respect to Coach Nick, I just don't think he can help himself.
02:34 Because he did it last week before the 49ers game.
02:38 And Eagles fans know this.
02:40 He spent the week showing video and clips and stuff of 49ers trash-talking the Eagles.
02:46 Which got the emotion stirred up in a way that obviously, based on the final score,
02:51 didn't help the Eagles much.
02:52 So the team that can maintain some composure here in this high profile, high intensity,
02:59 highly emotional...
03:02 Rivalry.
03:02 Yeah, rivalry.
03:03 But not quite as important as everybody thinks.
03:05 That's the team that's going to win Sunday night.
03:07 I like that take.
03:07 That's a good one.
