San Beda defeats Mapua for NCAA Season 99 crown  The San Beda Red Lions took down the Mapua Cardinals, 76-66, in Game 3 of the best-of-3 Finals to wrest the NCAA Season 99 men's basketball championship at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, December 17. Overcoming a 0-1 series disadvantage and eight do-or-die games this season, San Beda thus gained its first championship since 2018, 23rd overall, and avenged its Finals defeat to Mapua in the 1991 Finals.
