00:00 Brentford won Aston Villa 2. Somehow Unai Emery's team have got yet another win in the Premier League
00:06 and they're now just one point behind leaders Arsenal. It could be Liverpool at the top of the table
00:10 at the end of the day but they're yet to play against Manchester United. A very scrappy game here at
00:15 GTEC, one that probably Brentford deserve to have something from. But Villa later on took advantage of
00:21 10 men Brentford when Ben Mee was sent off. It was originally a yellow card by David Cooke but then the
00:26 VAR got involved. David Cooke had a look and it was a very reckless challenge on Leon Bailey. A stud
00:31 onto the above the ankle of Bailey. Christian Norgard escaped a red card early on in the game as well
00:37 as he studded onto John McGuinn's achilles. But the 10 men changed the game really. Villa before that
00:43 didn't look very adventurous. They looked like they had lacked ideas but they suddenly clicked into
00:47 another gear. Leon Bailey the substitute coming on from Moussa Diaby made such a difference. He crossed
00:52 in Alex Moreno scoring at the far post. There was another goal, Wally Watkins against his former club
00:57 heading in after a Jacob Ramsey corner. A very clever flick on from Boubacar Kamara led to that goal.
01:03 Suddenly a complete turnaround for Villa and it understandably sent the home support into a lot of
01:08 frustration and also the players as well. On the goal mouth after the Watkins goal there was a big brawl
01:13 a few minutes later as well. There was another one as Martinez lifted up Mope who was on the floor. Grabbed
01:19 him by his shirt. All the players came rushing over. Emery getting involved as well. Kamara didn't get
01:24 the memo from Emery though as he told his players to calm down. Kamara grabbing the face of a Brentford
01:29 substitute. I think he was actually on the pitch at the time the player and he got sent off for it. It wasn't
01:35 really that violent but you can't do that. It was stupid from Kamara as he put his hand on the Brentford
01:40 player's face. 10 men apiece then and in the closing stages there was a lot of tension but there was
01:46 amongst that really it kind of helped Villa in a weird way as Brentford weren't able to create any
01:51 clear-cut chances. It ended 2-1 to Villa. Another massive three points. Wow what a chaotic one it was
01:57 and I don't think Unai Emery who got booked himself by the way in all of that would be very happy with his
02:02 players' discipline.
