00:00 How's it going everybody? Randall Sweet, All Sooners.com, here to talk more about OU's 2024
00:05 recruiting class. I'm going to talk about Zion Raggans, one of the talented receivers that Emmett
00:09 Jones and company has added in this 2024 class. Now Zion Raggans is listed at about 5'8", 150-160
00:17 pounds, but despite being a smaller wide receiver, he is rated one of the top 241 players in the
00:24 class. And if you watch this film, you'll see why. He's absolutely electrifying. He's got so much
00:30 speed. His change of direction is incredible. This is a guy who can come in and probably compete for
00:35 kick and punt return duties early on because, again, if you watch his high school tape, you'll
00:40 see multiple kick and punt return touchdowns throughout his career. Again, speed, change of
00:45 direction, that vision that he's got really gives him the ability to be a good returner.
00:50 In addition to that, as a receiver, if you throw him tunnel screens, short routes, things like that,
00:56 he's got kind of a Hollywood Brown-esque way of navigating through traffic, finding the end zone.
01:02 And really, the play style is really similar to a Hollywood Brown, being a smaller, slimmer
01:08 receiver, but still having that speed to be able to not only be a good vertical threat down the
01:13 field that can beat people just running a go route, but also being really good with the ball in
01:18 their hands, being really good after the catch, just being able to make guys miss, things like
01:23 that. So Zion Raggans, once he gets to OU, working with Jerry Schmidt, just like a lot of these guys,
01:28 is going to be really important for him because he is so slight. He's going to need to work on that
01:32 frame, kind of add some to his build, and that way he can kind of withstand the hits, especially
01:37 that he's going to take in the SEC.
