00:00 How's it going everybody?

00:03 Here to talk about OU's 2024 signing class.
00:06 Now, I'm gonna talk about Eugene Brooks.
00:08 Eugene Brooks is a four-star offensive lineman
00:11 from Sierra Canyon High School in California.
00:14 He's rated one of the top 150 players,
00:16 top five interior offensive linemen by 24/7 Sports.
00:21 And this is a guy listed at 6'4", 320 pounds,
00:24 who I think he spent most of his high school career
00:28 at tackle, but I think that once he gets to OU,
00:31 he'll make the transition into the interior.
00:33 Watching his huddle tape,
00:34 I did see some reps on the interior,
00:36 so it won't be completely foreign to him,
00:39 but again, I think that most of his snaps
00:41 have been at tackle, where he'll play, I think,
00:43 on the interior once he gets to college.
00:45 Now, Eugene Brooks, he does a lot of the things
00:48 that Bill Biedenboh likes out of his offensive linemen.
00:51 He's a guy who's really physical,
00:52 really nasty at the line of scrimmage,
00:54 but then he has the mobility and the willingness
00:57 to climb up to the second level,
00:59 to take on linebackers, safeties.
01:02 He plays with great effort.
01:04 He's running 30, 40 yards downfield,
01:06 blocking defensive backs if he has to.
01:08 He's, again, running the length of the field
01:11 to pave a way for the ball carrier,
01:12 a guy who doesn't give up on the play.
01:14 And again, he's got the size to really hold up
01:17 against SEC defensive linemen
01:20 at 6'4", 320 pounds coming into college.
01:23 And so that's what you need.
01:25 You need those guys who have the size already.
01:27 So they can just develop
01:29 in that strength and conditioning program,
01:31 and they can hold up against the biggest
01:33 and the best defensive linemen in the nation
01:35 once they get onto the field.
