00:04 OU's 2024 recruiting class. I'm going to talk about Jaden Jackson, a talented
00:10 interior defensive lineman from IMG Academy. Now, Jaden Jackson is listed at
00:14 6'2", 300 pounds, so already got good size and really what you need in
00:19 those interior defensive linemen heading into the SEC. Guys who are big, guys who
00:23 can hold a lot of weight, guys who are really strong, can eat up double teams,
00:27 can really fight up front, can wreck the interior of offensive lines, and Jaden
00:31 Jackson, he can do all that. If you watch his film, he's pushing offensive linemen
00:35 back, whether it's the center, whether it's guards, once he gets his hands on,
00:39 once he's locked in with those guys, his legs are strong, he could push them back,
00:42 drive them into running backs, into the quarterback, really just disrupt a lot of
00:46 that interior movement with the offensive linemen. He's teammates at IMG
00:52 Academy with David Stone, who will tell you that he's one of the, that Jaden
00:56 Jackson is one of the best defensive linemen in all the country, so high
00:59 praise from one of his teammates. But again, rated a four-star recruit, rated
01:04 the number 206 overall prospect in the country according to 24/7 Sports. And a
01:09 guy who had some really good offers coming out of high school, chose OU over
01:13 some good teams like rival Texas, like Ohio State, like a handful of SEC teams.
01:18 So again, grabbing an interior defensive lineman who can wreck shop, who can make
01:24 life hard on centers, on guards. In the SEC, that's going to be important when
01:28 you're playing against a lot of talented interior offensive linemen, a lot of
01:32 talented offenses. You need big physical guys to go on that defensive line who
01:36 can stuff the run and who can push offensive linemen back in the passing game.
