00:02 - Belorat's got so much going for it at the moment.
00:11 We're a short drive from Melbourne,
00:13 it's $7 train fare as well now, a quick drive,
00:15 but over the last decade or more,
00:18 it's come so, so far in regards to shopping facilities,
00:21 infrastructure and lots of Armstrong Street
00:24 and all those shopping eateries that we have there.
00:27 There's so much to come still, I assume.
00:29 The Good Sheets got some great stuff happening.
00:32 Belorat, yeah, Dalypong town centre
00:34 on that side of town as well, all those shopping centres.
00:37 We would never have dreamed,
00:37 I remember being a little kid driving through
00:39 and they were just paddocks.
00:40 And now they're big shopping centres
00:42 and a whole lot of houses, which is great to see, yeah.
00:45 Community's big in these regional towns,
00:47 I think it's so important.
00:48 The likes of the beard competition that we run
00:51 is a really special day for us and a lot of people
00:53 to be able to bring all these different types
00:56 of facial hair together,
00:57 and whether it's partners of the beards
00:59 or the beards themselves,
01:00 it's a good day for them to come and meet a lot of people
01:03 that we don't have a lot in common sometimes,
01:05 apart from the fact that we've got beards,
01:06 but we'll get along, have a beer, a bit of a laugh,
01:08 and it's a good day.
01:09 So those sorts of things,
01:11 keeping the community together are always important, yeah.
01:14 The trajectory we're on, I think,
01:16 is gonna be really good for the next 10 years as well.
01:20 The growth, especially again in that Western district,
01:23 is a lot planned.
01:25 If the infrastructure and Civil Belorat
01:26 can make sure those roads and everything are
01:28 keeping up with it,
01:29 I think it's gonna work really, really well,
01:31 and there'll be a lot coming.
