00:08 I love Ballarat because it's a heritage and cultural town and there's just
00:14 everything you need is here without it being too busy and there's a really vibrant arts community
00:20 that's again really supportive and you know great art schools as well so you don't need to go
00:27 anywhere else. It's changed in the way that it's got stronger and bigger I mean there's still the
00:33 same group of people that were there you know 40 years ago but there's just more of us now maybe
00:39 more people have moved to Ballarat because they lived in Melbourne and other parts of you know
00:45 around regional Victoria and because of social media it's just you can access the art events
00:53 easier so it's a stronger voice I guess. I hope that there's more art galleries like my space
01:02 more independent art galleries and I assume I think there will be just there'll be more artists
01:08 in Ballarat and there'll be more other creative industries you know you know creative bakers and
01:15 things like that you know and I think that's great about Ballarat because even if you aren't in the
01:19 arts per se all those small businesses we all connect really well and communicate and
01:25 support each other so there is that local and small business support.
