00:01 little bit of a wet turn as we
00:03 head into the middle of the week.
00:05 This is going to be late
00:07 Tuesday into early Thursday.
00:08 We do have a storm developing here in
00:10 the Gulf and that's going to hug the Gulf
00:12 Coast, but here we're going to have
00:14 the heaviest rain stemming right
00:15 along that I-10 corridor.
00:16 But of course we could still see a few
00:18 showers through moving through the Lone
00:20 Star State up through Louisiana,
00:22 Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia,
00:22 and even up through South Carolina.
00:24 But hey,
00:25 the heaviest rain is going to
00:26 be right where we need it.
00:28 That is going to be bringing
00:29 drought relief for some.
00:30 But it is the start of a stormier pattern.
00:32 I kind of want to show you how
00:34 this is going to play out as we
00:36 take this throughout the rest of today.
00:38 Overall,
00:39 things are going to be remaining
00:40 relatively quiet and dry for
00:42 the start of the new year.
00:43 Meanwhile,
00:44 like I said,
00:44 that next storm is going to be
00:46 making its way on through,
00:48 bringing with it more in the way of rain,
00:50 packing a little bit more of a punch.

00:53 we certainly do need it as we are
00:55 still experiencing exceptional drought
00:56 across extreme eastern Texas up
00:57 through Louisiana into Mississippi.
00:58 We're seeing those dark dark Browns,
01:00 but even still across a lot of the region,
01:02 you're seeing Browns,
01:03 so we're experiencing some type of drought.
01:05 So hey, we could really use the rain.
01:07 Will welcome it in for the new year,
01:09 though it is again the start
01:10 of a stormier pattern.
01:11 This is going to kind of be the flavor
01:14 of things as we head into early to mid
01:16 January, numerous storms possible.
01:17 With snow possible a little bit
01:19 further north where of course we're
01:21 going to have that cooler air.
