00:00 >> How did it feel to just get out there and get some of the team?
00:03 >> Yeah, it was really good to just get out there, play an entire football game.
00:09 Obviously, the result wasn't what we all wanted, but
00:14 it was good to get out there, get good quality reps.
00:19 >> The way you guys started, and obviously you have more of the frontline players
00:24 with you, but the 275 guys, it seemed like you were in a nice rhythm and
00:28 you were able to keep it real good.
00:30 >> Yeah, we got in a really good rhythm those first couple drives.
00:33 That second half just couldn't sustain rhythm or drives.
00:41 They went on a couple long drives as well, but
00:45 we gotta do something there to get that rhythm back.
00:47 And then obviously at the end had a chance and ball didn't bounce our way.
00:55 >> I mean, you've known Christian McCaffrey for a while and played a day,
00:58 obviously, but what do you think the rushing title means to him in the grand
01:02 scheme of things?
01:03 >> I mean, it's one of those things like it's, with the career that he's had
01:12 at the end of the day when he's older, bless you, when he's older,
01:17 he's gonna remember stuff like that.
01:20 And that's gonna just be another accolade for him to kinda hang his cap on and
01:25 keep going.
01:25 But right now, it doesn't mean anything for him in his present or
01:32 current state of mind.
01:33 So, but I know down the road, it's gonna mean a lot.
01:35 >> If you have to, if the situation arises where you're playing in the playoffs,
01:43 how big a deal or not big a deal is playing four quarters today,
01:47 just to get you reacclimated?
01:51 >> Yeah, like I said, it was just good to get out there and play football.
01:55 It's been a while.
01:58 Obviously, I had a little bit of time in Baltimore, but
02:02 yeah, just to get out there and play football.
02:04 And yeah, it was good to get out there and
02:09 if they do need me during the playoff run, I'll be ready.
02:13 >> Have you done scout team every week at Mimicky and the other quarterback?
02:17 So, essentially, you're familiar with almost every quarterback that's in these
02:22 playoffs, maybe outside of golf and love?
02:26 >> Yeah, yeah, I mean, we faced, I think, a few weeks in a row,
02:29 it was a mobile dual threat quarterback.
02:32 So me and Brandon Allen have been playing that role.
02:35 And there's other weeks too.
02:38 For example, week two, we had the Rams.
02:41 And we were trying to do all the cool things that Stafford can do with
02:44 the football.
02:45 So no, it's just fun to be able to go out there and see the different plays that
02:50 the defensive guys draw up and try to do everything we can to get the defense ready.
02:55 >> How are your no look passes?
02:57 >> [LAUGH] They're getting there.
03:00 It's a lot easier to do them in the walkthrough,
03:02 because things are a little slower.
03:04 But no, it's fun.
03:05 It's fun to be able to try to get Dre and Fred, because they're the best of the best.
03:10 And it's fun to go up against them and practice every day.
03:13 >> I know this was not exactly, you played with the 49ers and
03:18 all the guys for four quarters.
03:22 But in any way, did this feel different?
03:25 And if so, I guess, how so from your first five seasons of playing
03:29 quarterback in the NFL?
03:31 >> No, I wouldn't say it was different.
03:34 It's just going out there, trying to do my job to the best of my ability.
03:39 And I know it's a cliche, but that's all you really have to focus on out there at
03:44 quarterback, because if you start thinking about other things,
03:48 you're probably not gonna play that well.
03:51 So just try to keep it one thing at a time and focus on my job every single play and
03:55 just move on to the next play after that.
03:57 >> Do you have any words to Jake Moody,
03:59 tell him that you're gonna go out there and try to get him a last kick?
04:03 >> What's that?
04:04 >> Do you talk to Moody at all,
04:05 say that you're going out there trying to get him one last chance for a kick?
04:08 >> No, I didn't talk to Jake before we went out there.
04:11 Again, like I just said, I was trying to just lead the team down there and
04:15 hopefully score in any way that we could, so.
04:17 >> All right.
