00:00 [News Anchor] In the Mayor's Mesa, in the Quirino Grandstand, the Manila Archbishop Cardinal Jose Advincula reminded us again,

00:15 [Darlene Cai] Susan, now the rain is getting heavier here in the Quirino Grandstand in Manila,

00:24 but the devotees are not giving up, and they are still here.

00:35 According to the Quiapo Church Command Post, since last night,

00:39 more than a million devotees came here.

00:42 Many of them came to the Mayor's Mesa, and many of them spent the night here,

00:55 The Quirino Grandstand was filled with devotees who attended the Mayor's Mesa earlier this evening,

01:03 led by Manila Archbishop Cardinal Jose Advincula.

01:16 Thousands of devotees prayed together with their eyes closed.

01:20 Cardinal Advincula's message was clear regarding the three teachings

01:25 that the devotees should hold in their hearts during the entire Nazarene Translation.

01:29 To see Jesus, to see Jesus, and to show Jesus.

01:34 By attending the entire Nazarene Translation,

01:38 the devotees will be able to show their devotion to Jesus Christ.

02:35 The thanksgiving of the devotees who attended the Mesa is immense,

02:39 like Father Benjamin, who is 70 years old.

02:42 He has been a devotee of the entire Nazarene for more than 50 years.

02:45 He was cut off by two fingers in his foot after a lot of pain in 1990.

02:51 But that is not a coincidence of Father Benjamin, who is tirelessly praying during the annual translation.

02:57 I am really happy for this feast.

03:00 I feel like my problems are gone.

03:07 I lost everything.

03:10 That is why Nazarene is really different.

03:13 Mother Carmen, who is 67 years old, is from Calamba, Laguna.

03:17 She is here to thank God after she recovered from liver disease.

03:24 I was able to finish my studies because I asked the Lord to give me a long life.

03:34 After the Mesa, this is where the many devotees will be able to show their devotion.

03:39 They will wait for the translation to start from the Quirino Grandstand.
