00:00 Well Jeff, you've heard of the chicken that crossed the road, but do you know why the ducks crossed the road?
00:04 I do not know. I don't know.
00:06 Let's find out.
00:07 Well our first Prime Cut takes us to Snohomish, Washington where it's been very cold, very snowy.
00:11 That has not stopped this flock of ducks from getting to their destination as they cross the snowy road.
00:16 Now the Northwest is going to see freezing weather and hopefully these guys are heading to someplace warm.
00:21 Aww.
00:22 If this is their migration, they're moving too slow.
00:24 They are moving too slow.
00:26 They've got to step on it.
00:27 And it wasn't just ducks making their way through the snow.
00:30 It was a pair of dogs in Crestwood, Illinois were having a blast playing in the freshly fallen snow.
00:40 They certainly enjoy the snow.
00:42 [laughter]
00:44 They certainly enjoy the night, Jeff. That was good.
00:47 They're known regionally as the tribe called Quest.
00:50 That's the ducks called Quest.
00:53 Right.
00:54 Our last snow filled Prime Cut before the wheels entirely fall off takes us to Vancouver, British Columbia
01:00 where a cyclist did not let the winter weather stop him as he raced through the snow with no issues.
01:05 Look at this.
01:06 Looks like he has a little fan too here, Michelle.
01:09 Look at this.
01:10 I don't understand. What kind of tires?
01:12 I don't get it.
01:13 I don't know.
01:14 People.
01:15 Kids on board.
01:16 I love it.
01:17 I'm a big fan of this.
01:18 You know, Michelle, when I was in college, I used to ride my bike regardless of the weather from class to class.
01:22 It was fun.
01:23 But I kind of did it through the winter with the snow.
01:26 But one day I fell off my bike three times in one hour.
01:29 Jeff!
01:30 I was fine.
01:31 But if you were to extrapolate that over the course of the year, I'd fall off my bike thousands and thousands of times.
01:35 Jeff!
01:36 Yeah. It'd be bad.
01:37 Jeff, you would.
01:38 [laughter]
01:39 But that's why, you know, you can spin data any way you want, and that's one example.
01:43 But I kind of enjoyed it.
01:44 And they do make those big snow tires now on bikes that people ride up in Alaska and all that.
01:48 I wouldn't do it.
