00:00 Rafa in southern Gaza. Palestinians are preparing to bury four people killed when a car was
00:07 hit by an Israeli airstrike. It's a scene now familiar to many as Israel presses ahead
00:14 with its military offensive.
00:18 I was coming from Jabalia and on the way there were airstrikes. In Khan Yunis there was a
00:22 strike too. I finally arrived in Rafa and when I went looking for food for my children
00:26 there was another one. Where is the security the Israelis are talking about?
00:31 According to Hamas, more than 25,100 people have been killed since the start of the war.
00:37 The Israeli military is now focusing its firepower in and around Khan Yunis. Earlier it published
00:43 footage of a tunnel it said it had discovered in the city, claiming that hostages had been
00:48 held there. It said its soldiers had found these drawings by an Israeli child, kidnapped
00:53 on October 7th.
00:56 The soldiers entered the tunnel where they came face to face with the terrorists. They
01:00 fought and killed them. Inside the tunnel there weren't any hostages, but they had been
01:05 held there earlier.
01:07 For now, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says there's still more fighting
01:11 to be done in Gaza. He's also repeated his opposition to the creation of a Palestinian
01:15 state once the conflict ends, publicly rejecting Washington's push for Palestinian sovereignty.
