00:05 we look back at historic pictures of Edinburgh.

00:08 In this video we'll be looking at pictures of Princess Street Station which stood at

00:12 the west end of Princess Street from 1870 until 1965.

00:18 In this picture from 1963 we can see the interior of Princess Street Station, showing the platform

00:24 entrance and the ornate refreshments bar.

00:29 Pips fans queued for the special train to Glasgow in March 1959.

00:33 It was to end in disappointment however, with the Scottish Cup tie ending in a 2-1 victory

00:38 for 3rd Lanark.

00:41 Here we see the Caledonian Railway locomotive number 123 arriving at Princess Street Station

00:50 Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, better known as Laurel and Hardy, can be seen here at the
