00:00 The Malaysian Ministry of Finance has called Mohd Zani,

00:06 another former Prime Minister's son, Dr Mahathir Mohamad,

00:09 to be investigated on the property disclosure notice.

00:12 The development came a week after his brother, Mirzan,

00:16 was called by the same agency to investigate a case

00:19 in the Panama Papers report and was directed to disclose his assets.

00:23 BH reported that Mohd Zani, who is also a business owner, came to the SPRM office at around 11am,

00:30 suspected of having a property disclosure notice.

00:34 He said he was investigating according to the 2009 SPRM Act and the Act on the Prevention of Illegal Cash Transfers,

00:39 Prevention of Rape Taxation and the Results of Illegal Activities 2001.

00:44 SPRM Director-General Azam Baki, who confirmed the matter, said

00:47 some parties will receive a notice on the SPRM's next investigation.

00:53 On January 18, the SPRM confirmed that Mirzan had been given a notice

00:57 under Section 36, Section 1, Section B of the 2009 SPRM Act.

01:03 The investigation was initiated to disclose all illegal and non-illegal assets in his possession,

01:09 both in and outside the country, within 30 days of the date of the incident.
