00:00 >> Yeah, I mean, it's kind of been our game, the last three of them.
00:06 So came down to one position three overtimes.
00:09 I mean, that's kind of what it's been.
00:12 >> What was the message in the locker room?
00:17 >> We gotta take away second chance points down the stretch.
00:21 We give them too many chances after getting stops.
00:24 They score on second chance and offensive rebounds.
00:26 We gotta take that away, especially in the last five minutes.
00:31 >> You had a career game, scored a goal.
00:35 What was working?
00:38 >> I mean, this guy was making me get no sleep, which was passing the ball and
00:41 how to try to finish your play on time.
00:43 >> What do you have to learn from this?
00:49 >> You gotta be honest and honest, always, from the beginning to the end.
00:54 Especially in the last five minutes, the most important thing.
00:57 So that's something you gotta face, and also second chance points,
01:01 just like we just did.
01:02 >> And Jake, did you figure out pretty early that he was having that kind of game,
01:06 or Mikel went to end play and you didn't start from the first half?
01:10 >> Yeah, I mean, absolutely.
01:11 I mean, they were two on the ball off the ball screens and
01:14 kind of leaving him in that mid area and just giving it to him.
01:18 He's super talented and good enough.
01:19 He worked on that all week to make a play right there and
01:22 he did a great job of it.
01:24 >> When you told me it was a three,
01:26 I think you had some kind of regulation for that.
01:30 What was the first one?
01:31 >> First one.
01:32 >> First one.
01:34 Yeah, how did y'all feel like, okay, we're gonna take that or?
01:38 >> Yeah, I mean, that was huge.
01:39 And I mean, I thought we had that momentum going into the second overtime.
01:47 We just gotta capitalize on things like that.
01:49 And when we get up five, six, eight points, we gotta put games away.
01:54 >> Ray J, it doesn't get any easier after this game,
01:58 UCF and then four straight ranked games.
02:02 How do you bounce back from this and get your head in the right space?
02:06 >> You go watch film, you get better, you get back in the gym,
02:09 you take care of your body.
02:11 And I understand that there's no games off.
02:13 And we gotta go into UCF on Wednesday with more intensity and finish games.
02:19 >> Eve, just one personal foul, and you kind of struggled to stay on the court.
02:22 But giving your team 42 minutes and just being out there,
02:24 how big was that for you just to have that level of consistency?
02:27 >> I was just ready to do whatever it takes to knock them out.
02:32 Whenever my name was called, I was just trying to make a play.
02:37 >> Ray J, can you talk a little bit about Jameer Nelson's game?
02:39 He was effective getting to the rim,
02:42 especially the second half of those overtime, what was he doing well?
02:45 >> Yeah, I mean, he was just doing a good job kind of controlling the team,
02:48 their side for them offensively, and kind of living in the pain and
02:52 living out the line.
02:53 >> Anything else?
02:56 All right.
02:57 >> Thank you.
