00:00 Hello, it's Joe Buck here with all the latest in Cassie United transfer news for the Shields
00:05 Gazette. Now with just over a day left of the January transfer window, Newcastle are
00:09 still to confirm signing into the club. They've obviously let Javi Mankiw go to San Luigo,
00:15 they've seen Cameron Ferguson and Remy Savage as part of the club as well, but in terms
00:19 of first team transfers, Mankiw is the only one to have been confirmed so far. They are
00:24 expected to announce a signing of Alfie Harrison from Manchester City, that is expected to
00:29 go through on deadline day and be announced on deadline day. So it's positive that they're
00:33 at least going to get one player in. Naturally, Harrison probably won't have a too big a role
00:38 to play in the first team, he's probably likely to bolster the academy links, but with all
00:42 the injury problems we've seen this year, there might be a role for him to play between
00:45 now and the end of the season if these injury problems do worsen. But heading into deadline
00:50 day, there could be a couple of transfers out of the club. Isaac Hayden has been linked
00:55 with a move out ever since he returned from Belgium, the Championship side is interested
00:59 in him, but Eddie Howe admitted on Tuesday that he wasn't really sure what was going
01:03 on with Hayden. Other than that, they've managed to keep all the Miguel Almaron, Calum Wilson,
01:10 Kieran Trippier, Jamal Assel, they're all going to be staying at the club. So I don't
01:14 think they'll be too busy on deadline day for Newcastle, certainly not in terms of incomings
01:18 and possibly not with outgoings, but as always, we all know that if one domino falls, there
01:24 could be a string of movement. The domino doesn't necessarily fall at Newcastle, it
01:29 could be across the Premier League where one transfer happens, clubs have to react to that.
01:33 So it's probably going to be quiet at Newcastle, but as I've said, the dominoes could still
01:38 fall tomorrow and we are expecting Newcastle to announce at least one deal. So, yeah, it's
01:45 been a weird window and one that no doubt we'll dissect over the coming days, but as
01:50 you know, the best way to stay up to date with all the latest Newcastle United transfer
01:53 for news is with the Shield Gazette.
