Police have confiscated drugs worth RM1.8mil and arrested five men, including a 17-year-old teenager, during two separate raids in Johor Baru by the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) under 'Ops Tapis'.
Johor police chief Comm M. Kumar said in a press conference at the Johor police Headquarters on Sunday (Feb 4) that all of the suspects were currently under remand from Jan 30 until Feb 5 to help with the investigations.

00:17 The first hearing was held on 29 January 2024, when the JSOC was assisted by the Police Inspectorate of Juhu, Iskandar Puteri, to carry out an operation involving two armed gangs in the surrounding areas of Juhu Baru and Iskandar Puteri.
