Police have confiscated drugs worth RM2.3mil following the arrest of a 35-year-old man in Taman Pelangi, Johor Baru.

Johor police chief Comm M. Kumar said the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) made the arrest at 2am on Wednesday (April 24).

00:00 In the first incident, on April 24, 2024, at around 2 am,
00:08 the Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Johor Police Contingent Office
00:13 carried out an operation where a local man was successfully arrested.
00:20 The arrest was estimated to take at least 35 years.
00:26 The charges included first-degree sepsis, positive urine, methamphetamine and amphetamine.
00:36 The arrest was carried out in two locations in the Johor Bahru area.
00:41 As a result of the arrest, the police managed to seize 13,576 grams of anesthetic powder worth RM2,267,192,
01:04 various anesthetic pills, Aramin-5 pills, ketamine and 3 liters of drug-containing drinks worth RM3,000.
01:19 The amount of drugs seized was worth RM2,391,227.
01:31 In addition, the police also managed to seize two motorbikes worth RM75,000 and cash worth RM650.
01:47 The total amount of drugs seized, including drugs, was RM2,466,877.
