00:10 >> I'm prepping for this game, I knew, looking into it,
00:16 coming off two losses, then coming off two losses.
00:21 Usually the more desperate team wins.
00:25 They played with that sense of desperation tonight, and we did.
00:30 You can tell that they wanted it way more than we did, and
00:34 they competed a lot harder than we did, and everything they did.
00:39 And that was the difference in the game.
00:40 Yeah, we're going on too many scoring droughts.
00:46 We had 11 minutes of it.
00:47 Total between two segments in the first 30 minutes, we could have field goal, and
00:54 those droughts could kill you this league.
00:55 >> Questions, please.
00:58 >> Coach, I think it was a season high 19 turnovers for your squad tonight.
01:01 Was that anything TC was doing defensively, or was that an execution thing?
01:06 What was happening?
01:07 >> No, they turned up the pressure on us for sure.
01:10 Like I said, that sense of desperation was all across the floor.
01:13 So they didn't give us anything easy.
01:17 Our execution was horrible.
01:20 They had us turned around, we were playing on our heels,
01:23 trying to dribble through traffic.
01:26 Particularly we tell them not to fight pressure.
01:30 We fought pressure and didn't, and we lost in that regard in terms of trying to execute.
01:36 >> Coach, I don't think you've played a game with your full roster yet this year.
01:44 What has that adversity been like for
01:47 you as you navigate this first season as the head coach in particular?
01:50 >> It's been incredibly difficult.
01:52 You're managing a lot of different things.
01:55 First and foremost, the chemistry just isn't there,
02:00 because the guys haven't played that much together.
02:03 And this isn't the league to try to build chemistry.
02:05 We have 20 games in.
02:07 This league's just too strong, top to bottom,
02:13 to be able to afford to do that so late.
02:19 Yeah, but regardless, we played the last couple games with a full roster and
02:23 go on the road, and this league is incredibly difficult.
02:27 And they wanted to play more than we did tonight, and then it showed.
02:33 >> Ray Quambato was your leading scorer tonight, and
02:35 he's been the leading scorer ever since he's come back from his suspension.
02:39 Has he shown enough to prove to you that you run the offense through him?
02:44 >> No, you can't run it through one person.
02:48 You gotta be more dynamic offensively.
02:50 So it's nice to have a scorer like that on the floor, and
02:54 you can do a lot of things with him.
02:55 But you gotta have a balanced scoring approach to win this league.
02:59 It can't be one-sided whatsoever.
03:01 So to say we can run everything through him,
03:04 it's not really the way you approach that as a coach.
03:07 >> Any other questions for Coach?
03:12 >> Coach, thank you.
03:14 >> Thank you.
03:14 >> Thanks, Coach.
