00:00 If you were hoping for warmer weather in February, well it doesn't look like we'll be in luck,
00:06 as parts of the UK are set to see snowfall next week according to new weather maps. It's
00:10 thought some parts of the country could see as much as 4 inches of snow per hour should
00:15 temperatures stay low enough. The North East and parts of the North West are in for snow,
00:20 with parts of Yorkshire, Cumbria and Greater Manchester also expected to be in for a flurry.
00:25 The Met Office has said that during late February and early March there is a higher than normal
00:30 likelihood of northerly or easterly winds dominating, which would increase the chance
00:35 of colder and drier than average conditions. Spells of milder and wetter weather are still
00:40 likely to occur at times. Wales and South West England are due to see the heaviest downpours
00:46 with up to an inch of rain forecast in these places. The rest of the UK is set to expect
00:52 wet weather, with heavy, persistent rain and in places warmer temperatures.
