00:00 >> What does your agent tell you to expect when it comes to the NFL draft?
00:05 >> Stressful, stressful nights, whatever you're gonna be drafted for, but
00:09 also just enjoy it cuz you only get drafted once.
00:12 So, enjoy the process, you're becoming, your dreams are coming true.
00:19 So might as well sit back and take everything in.
00:23 >> Would there be a team that would be the ultimate dream for you to be drafted?
00:29 >> No, I just wanna play when any team would be great, so.
00:35 >> You said getting drafted has been your dream for as long as you can remember.
00:40 What do you think that moment will feel like when you hear your name called?
00:44 >> I think that's a good one.
00:49 I think about it quite a bit, but I think not really the emotion of me getting
00:54 drafted, just the gratefulness for the people around me.
00:59 I think that's a huge thing for me.
01:01 And it's just more like I kinda wanna sit back and see how my parents react to it.
01:07 Because I know what my name's gonna be called, I know how my name sounds, but
01:12 it just isn't about me anymore, it's about all the people that got me there.
01:18 So just an overwhelming emotion of gratefulness,
01:24 gratitude, and I don't know, just excitement.
01:27 >> You've described your game as violent a few times in this interview.
01:32 What's your favorite part about football?
01:34 >> Probably the twofold, the violence of it,
01:39 being able to hit somebody and not get in trouble.
01:41 And that, and I'd say playing as a team,
01:47 especially as an offensive line.
01:50 There isn't a position group that has to work together so uniquely and
01:56 intricately for a team to run, and I think that's just beautiful.
02:00 >> I know you probably spoke with a lot of teams at the Senior Bowl.
02:05 Teams you feel like are showing a particular interest in you?
02:08 >> That's a good one.
02:10 I thought I had a great interviews with everybody.
02:14 Everybody was super nice, everybody was super great to me.
02:19 I think, I don't know, I went with every interview as the same mindset,
02:25 the same, because you never want to have a picture in your mind,
02:30 because you never know what's gonna happen on draft night.
02:34 >> That's very true, draft night is very unpredictable.
02:37 I've heard some crazy stories about whether it's a team asking a wild question or
02:44 something else.
02:45 What has been the most shocking or
02:47 weird thing that you have dealt with during this NFL draft process?
02:51 >> Ooh, I mean, a lot of it is kind of at the Senior Bowl.
02:58 I mean, I got asked some kind of out of field questions, but
03:04 I'm an open guy, so it wasn't too hard.
03:06 And then, but I think in between the two buildings of the convention center and
03:14 the Senior Bowl in the hotel, there's these guys who,
03:17 they call them poachers that will just keep your signature and try and sell them.
03:20 So I chose a different name every day.
03:26 I tried to make it funny as possible.
03:28 And then I think my uncle bought one of those balls.
03:33 >> No.
03:34 >> Cuz I just was signing funny names, so.
03:38 >> Which name did your uncle buy?
03:40 >> I don't know if you've seen the SNL skit.
03:45 It's an old one.
03:46 It's Celebrity Jeopardy, and like Turd Ferguson comes in.
03:53 >> [LAUGH] >> So I signed Turd Ferguson on one of them.
03:55 Because I'm a guy who I'll sign anything.
03:59 If it's really meaningful to someone, yeah, of course.
04:03 If you're just gonna go around and sell it, then yeah.
