00:00 The Bureau of Customs has now arrested another expensive supercar, the Bugatti Chiron,
00:06 which was brought to the country without any legal documents.
00:10 And it was pointed out to be Mackie Pulido.
00:12 In an exclusive subdivision in Alabang, the Bureau of Customs found this Azul Bugatti Chiron.
00:21 The expensive supercar is estimated to be worth 3 million dollars
00:26 or more than 160 million pesos each before being deducted from import taxes.
00:31 This is one of the two Bugatti Chiron that the agency is looking for
00:35 because it was brought to the country without any legal documents.
00:38 The first one to be found was this red Bugatti Chiron, which was also found by a registered owner.
00:43 The second owner, Bugatti, tried to escape and told the NBI and Customs that he had sold the sports car.
00:51 But when the deed of sale asked for a receipt of the sale, he volunteered to turn over the Bugatti.
00:57 The only one who turned over the Bugatti to us was the owner's lawyer.
01:01 The lawyer didn't say anything earlier except that they were surrendering the car.
01:06 The expensive supercar was driven on a flatbed truck and brought to the Bureau of Customs.
01:12 The hearing will take place in the law division. The registered owner will be charged.
01:18 But there are still many questions that the Bureau of Customs cannot answer.
01:21 They cannot say who let the luxury car go, how and where it was let go,
01:27 and that it did not pay the right amount of taxes.
