James Beadle is determined to help Sheffield Wednesday stay up - and to improve himself as well
Transcript
00:00 I think it's just a step up in level to championship and obviously I know Sal which has
00:06 made the move a bit easier. I think there's a few factors, Sal's one of them, obviously the
00:12 gaffer here is one of them who everyone speaks so highly of, obviously it's a massive club and yeah
00:17 obviously helping the team stay up is the biggest thing. Obviously I want to play every game that I
00:23 can towards the end of the season and really have positive impact to try and play well and
00:27 help the team pick up points. It's a bit cliche, once you get on the pitch, football is football,
00:31 you're trying to win the game and I don't think what you're playing for should really affect how
00:35 you're playing sort of thing. If you're trying to win a game of football, if you're at the top of
00:39 the bottom of the league, what you do should be the same and how you're doing it. Yeah, Sal's one
00:44 of the best coaches I've worked with, he's really improved me as a goalkeeper. Just the technical
00:50 detail goes into, a goal goes in, it's not just unlucky, it's why you didn't save it, it's how
00:56 you can do things better and that's what I think I really need, especially at this stage in my
00:59 career. I'm still trying to improve, still trying to get better, I need that sort of coaching.
01:03 And he gives that really well. I think all the goalkeepers are enjoying working with him,
01:09 Pierce thinks he's improving, Cam thinks he's improving, so it's been good.
