00:31 You guys were trailing for a lot of that game to come back.
00:33 How needed was that game for you guys?
00:36 >> I think it was really big.
00:37 I mean, I feel like it was also big for just us as a team.
00:41 We were down, and then we fought back, so resiliency.
00:45 I mean, I feel like it was huge for us, just going on into this next game.
00:49 I mean, preparing for Iowa State, so I feel like that one was much needed, and
00:53 it was huge.
00:54 >> Eli, back to Waldo, when you think back to the summer and
00:57 your first time just being around him, you were getting this group together and
01:00 meshing, what stood out about his game?
01:02 And do you have any sense that he could be this impactful,
01:05 this consistently at the highest heights this season?
01:08 >> Yeah, for sure, I mean, especially in runs in the summer, we all, I mean,
01:12 we knew from probably the third round we had that we were gonna be a good team,
01:16 because we knew we had so many pieces.
01:17 And yeah, when Waldo came in, bro, we saw, I mean, every aspect of the defense.
01:22 He plays defense, he can get a basket if you need him to.
01:25 He can talk, tell you where to go.
01:27 I mean, he has that leadership quality.
01:29 So I mean, I feel like even from the summer, we knew Waldo would be an impact.
01:32 >> Waldo, after Saturday's game,
01:35 you said you guys have the confidence that you're the best team in the country.
01:40 How much does that confidence play into a week like this when you get two top ten
01:43 teams?
01:44 >> I mean, I feel like it plays a big role, cuz we are confident within ourselves and
01:49 as our team, and as the game plans, we are gonna execute, I mean,
01:53 the next game going forward.

02:00 How much do you take from that game to apply to tomorrow?
02:04 >> You take a lot from me, I mean, especially from each game.
02:07 But from that game, we took a lot from it.
02:09 And we're, I mean, we got a game plan ready to execute and
02:11 go out there and get a road done.
02:13 >> Do you think they're playing even better since the first time you guys
02:16 played them?
02:16 >> I mean, yeah, I mean, they're a top ten team.
02:18 I mean, of course, they've been on the road, but we'll be ready for them.
02:22 We're ready to go in and get a win.

02:26 >> I guess what's the key to slowing them down with how well they've been playing?
02:31 >> I mean, just, I mean, transition defense.
02:34 I mean, we gotta get back on the flight of the ball and
02:37 see if we're gonna be ready to do that.

02:43 How tough was it to just move along after such an emotional game like Saturday?
02:49 >> I mean, it wasn't tough at all.
02:50 I mean, cuz we know we're on a mission.
02:52 I mean, we're like one of our traits of the team is advancement and
02:56 we want progression and we wanna get better.
02:58 So I mean, it wasn't tough at all to move from that game cuz we know we want as
03:03 a team and we know that game is just a game.
03:05 I mean, you can't take that away from us, but we also grow from that game.
03:08 We're ready to go to the next.
03:09 >> When you have, you guys are playing the number one team on Saturday.
03:14 Does it help to have a really good, tough top opponents so
03:19 you don't kinda overlook them cuz you've got your hands full both games?
03:23 >> I mean, yeah, I would say, I mean, we wouldn't overlook anybody.
03:26 I mean, this conference is tough.
03:28 I mean, one of the toughest in the country.
03:30 So I mean, yeah, I feel like it helps.
03:33 Every game helps leading up to the next game, so yeah.
