00:06 to become a member of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, or OECD, in the next three years.
00:12 The Ministry of Economy and Trade hopes Indonesia will receive support from 38 OECD countries.
00:17 In order to promote Indonesia to become a member of an organization that includes developed countries
00:26 with high standards of policy and regulation, or OECD,
00:30 the government will open discussions with many other OECD members to proceed with the accession process.
00:36 As the first country in Southeast Asia to be invited to open an OECD accession discussion,
00:42 the government of the Ministry of Economy and Trade hopes to encourage other OECD members
00:47 to provide support for the accession process.
00:51 In a special meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs thanked the support of many OECD countries
00:56 to help Indonesia become a member of an organization in the next three years.
