00:05 Yeah, absolutely.
00:06 The Detroit Lions are definitely taking a lot of formal meetings with defenders, and
00:11 I think it makes a lot of sense.
00:13 When you look at where the Detroit Lions had a lot of weaknesses in 2023, it was along
00:18 the defensive line and in the secondary.
00:20 And you're hearing that they've met with Darius Robinson.
00:24 You've heard that they've met with Kool-Aid McKinstry.
00:27 Top players at key positions.
00:29 Now it's going to be tough for a lot of the best players like a Darius Robinson, who has
00:34 now burst onto the scene, obviously having grown up in Michigan and having been a fan
00:40 of the Detroit Lions.
00:41 You know that he definitely was a little bit nervous when he got to meet with, formerly,
00:46 Dan Campbell and the coaching staff.
00:48 But you look at it, I like his bravado.
00:50 You're hearing that he's moving up the draft boards based on his numbers and based on his
00:53 interview.
00:54 He understands the game, and he's a smart football player.
00:57 He helped Missouri do their thing in 2023.
01:00 And you look at it, there's a lot of good football players that are down in Indianapolis
01:05 at the combine.
01:06 You're hearing, obviously, that the Lions are meeting with a lot of defensive players.
01:10 You're hearing that players that potentially could interest them, players that are going
01:14 to shine, Chop Robinson, Darius Robinson.
01:17 You're hearing the Detroit Lions are taking a keen interest in a lot of the edge rushers
01:24 as well.
01:25 Being that it's a position of need, the likes of a Braylon Trice from Washington, who definitely
01:29 have a nice contingent.
01:31 But at the same time, pay attention to guys from Michigan.
01:35 As Brad Holmes said, that having Michigan in the backyard makes it easy to scout.
01:39 And the name that you're hearing that's going to potentially move up draft boards, maybe
01:43 right now a day two pick, but potentially could move up, is Chris Jenkins.
01:47 I think that based on his work ethic and what he could bring to the table, he's a football
01:51 player that a lot of NFL teams are going to covet.
01:55 I think based on the fact that he came from a great program at Michigan, the fact that
01:59 the program had some down years and then elevated themselves to become national champions, a
02:05 lot of people are going to take note of a player like Chris Jenkins.
02:07 So for the Detroit Lions, they're doing their due diligence.
02:10 Dan Campbell, Chris Fehlman, Brad Holmes, they're doing their due diligence, getting
02:13 the meetings in.
02:14 And right now, you're hearing a lot of defenders early on meeting with the Lions.
