00:08 had a number of falls in the Peak District over the weekend. Members of the Edale Mountain Rescue
00:13 Team were called out to a number of incidents across the weekend, including at Stoney Middleton,
00:18 Winnetts Pass and Clodhall. At all three incidents, rescuers used specialist sledges to transport
00:24 injured patients from remote locations in the Derbyshire countryside to the roadside,
00:29 where they could then be taken on to hospital. A Peak District hotel has been named one of the
00:35 best places to stay in the UK. The Times and the Sunday Times has revealed its definitive list of
00:41 the best 100 places to stay in the UK. And Boot and Bike, a pet-friendly hotel in the Peak District
00:48 which offers free dog grooming for its guests, has not only made it onto the list but also won
00:53 the cheap and chic Hotel of the Year category for its buzzy and youthful vibe. The hotel,
00:58 located on Hope Road near Bamford and Hope, opened its doors for the first time in September
01:03 and was the second one in the chain following the success of the first Bike and Boot which
01:07 opened in Scarborough. The 60-room dog-friendly venue at the heart of the Peak District
01:12 offers bedrooms in three sizes, power showers, smart TV and Wi-Fi connection.
