00:04 Chesterfield Borough Council's Planning Committee has approved layout changes for
00:08 plans for 400 new homes in Staveley. The development has previously attracted concerns about its
00:14 potential impact upon neighbourhood services, the traffic network and the loss of greenfield
00:19 land. The Council has previously granted planning permission for the 22 hectare site near Uckleston
00:24 Road, Staveley and its Planning Committee gave the go-ahead during a meeting on March
00:28 11th for David Barrett Wilson Homes, after considering changes to some of the houses,
00:33 the removal of a pumping station and reducing an open space area.
00:40 Police have launched an appeal to trace a wanted man with links to a Derbyshire town,
00:44 with residents warned not to approach him. They have called on the public to help trace
00:48 a man who officers wish to speak to about several allegations of stalking and arson
00:52 with intent. Michael Price has no fixed abode but has links to Matlock. Residents are urged
00:59 not to approach the 58 year old, but if you have seen him or have information about his
01:03 whereabouts to contact Derbyshire Police.
