Transcript
00:00 Hello, it's Martin Dempster, the Scotsman Golf Correspondent here coming to you from the infamous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass,
00:09 venue for this week's 50th anniversary of the Players' Championship.
00:14 Not the most famous 17th hole in golf, that of course belongs to the road hole, it's in Andrews.
00:23 But it's certainly quite a setting, one of the great settings in golf.
00:30 This event always throws up some drama and most of it comes here at this 17th hole.
00:37 Scotland's Russell Knox, he came a cropper about a decade ago, he was going along nicely,
00:45 then ran up a nine here, putting three balls in the water.
00:50 It really is a crucial hole in this tournament, as I say it's the 50th anniversary of this event,
00:57 and on Sunday afternoon, whoever's in the lead will be feeling the nerves on the tee at this hole.
