00:00 Well, on to Everton. Now, Nottingham Forest has been confirmed to have a four-point deduction
00:07 for breaching profits and sustainability rules. I mean, this, you know, you don't really ever
00:12 want to look at another club and think of, you know, what they're going through, as Everton
00:18 know all too well. But it does sort of play into Everton's hands, you know, in terms of
00:23 the relegation battle. How important is this for Everton? And, you know, we've mentioned
00:28 multiple times they can't rely on other clubs, you know, doing poorly. They've got to pick
00:31 up their results. But it is sort of good news, you know, for Everton and they can hopefully,
00:38 you know, continue in the league and try and continue to get better now.
00:41 Yeah, it is. But I think a lot of Everton fans are particularly ached why Forest have only got
00:49 four points and Everton have got six. That was originally ten. I mean, if you look at the
00:56 document from the Independent Commission from the Forest case, it said that Forest were working in
01:01 cooperation and those behind the scenes will be a little bit annoyed by that because they were
01:06 working with the Premier League for quite a while in terms of what they could do. And then the
01:11 Appeal Board dismissed that notion. So what happens here? Why have nothing in Forest? I think
01:18 it was six points and then minus two for mitigation. And, you know, Everton, then you
01:25 put on top of it the stadium costs are divided. And obviously the war in Ukraine affected Everton
01:32 because he has a lot of funding from Alessio Rusmanov and through his businesses for Everton.
01:37 You know, he has a whole deal on a new stadium as well. So Everton lost significant revenue on that
01:42 and their only fans to be guilty, 19.5 million, where I think Nottingham Park was 34.5 million.
01:49 So Everton are looking at that thinking, what has gone wrong here? Why have we been hit with this?
01:54 But back to the original point, yes, at least there has been a little bit of justice in Everton.
02:01 Have maybe one less rival to bully about as much in terms of the relegation battle.
02:11 They are four points clear. They do need to start picking up results on the pitch because
02:14 it's the winless in 11 games. And they are potentially, if they don't pick up, they are
02:21 going to be in another battle. I'm just adding up that alleged breach from last season, overhanging
02:28 them as well. And I think that case is to be heard the week beginning, you know, Easter week,
02:36 Easter, the week before Easter and Everton will hear maybe the week after that, then probably
02:40 the Tuesday after Easter Monday because it's a bank holiday. So we'll just see about that. But
02:46 yeah, I think you can understand why a lot of fans are calling for an independent
02:52 regulator now in football, because clearly there's no consistency here.
