00:00 I was out at Bandon Dunes in my first Golf Channel week covering the US Junior out there.
00:12 And I was just out there kind of out on the golf course on 16, just kind of getting a
00:17 feel for the course.
00:18 And I think it was around a 64.
00:21 And I see this kid who's like, I mean, looks like he could be, I mean, he's 13 years old,
00:27 but he looks like he would have been 10 years old if you would have guessed just by his
00:30 body type.
00:31 And he's playing this mammoth junior who's 6'3", at least two bills.
00:38 And Miles lost that match on 16 green.
00:42 But I took a video of his swing and posted it to my Twitter and just was so impressed
00:46 by first his action.
00:49 I was like, man, what a good golf swing.
00:52 And he was playing a kid from Northwestern, lost.
00:56 Watch him shake the dude's hand on 16.
01:01 And then I watched him go to the 17 tee.
01:04 And I know what he's doing.
01:05 And he just puts a tee in the ground, puts the ball on the tee.
01:10 And then he goes and finishes out his round.
01:13 And I've never seen a player do that after he loses.
01:17 Most of the time you just walk in.
01:19 And Miles went and he said, I'm going to go finish my round.
01:25 You just remember things like that, right?
01:28 With especially a 13-year-old kid, it's just looking inside of obviously a really talented
01:34 player but just someone that wanted the opportunity to keep going to keep playing to keep competing.
01:42 It was so cool to see.
01:44 And then I've kept an eye on him over the years.
01:46 He's like the Scotty Shuffler of junior golf.
01:50 He doesn't really lose anything and he wins by a lot.
01:52 He's a player that I don't know if he'll go to college.
01:55 I shoot and I do four years for all I know.
01:58 But he's going to be, everybody's going to want this kid on his team.
02:04 We haven't had a prodigy type of junior golfer like this in which has caught our eyes.
02:10 I think Akshay Bhatia was probably a player that was comparable.
02:14 Maybe it's just because it's a lefty thing.
02:16 I was going to say, another sweet swinging skinny lefty.
02:19 I'm a big fan of any junior golfer that's a lefty because I think they're always going
02:23 to be the next Phil Mickelson and Akshay Bhatia.
