00:14 And there's also a lot of wild storylines around this season, including Kevin Durant in Brooklyn,

00:21 which I think a lot of people are watching in that opening tip.

00:25 I think I'm going to go with the word lit, because I think it's lit that the NBA season is back.

00:29 You mentioned Kevin Durant. I obviously want to see what that new Brooklyn team looks like.

00:33 Can they really take over and become the dominant team in New York City basketball?

00:37 It's still going to be the Knicks, in my opinion, at least off the court.

00:41 Namely, when you look at the situation with Luka Doncic, is he ready to step up to be the new face

00:45 or the next face of the NBA, along with LeBron James?

00:50 How is Zion Williamson going to come out?

01:04 And once again, obviously, number one storyline, can the Lakers repeat or will the Clippers

01:11 Ben, what's your word for this NBA season?

01:13 My word is sneaky, and Corey did a great job mapping out a ton of storylines.

01:17 But for me, I can't get over the idea that this season, or last season, rather,

01:21 feels like it just ended, right? Because really, it did.

01:23 It wasn't that long ago we were talking about the Lakers battling the Heat

01:27 and who was going to win that NBA Finals, right?

01:30 It's really been a crazy last month, right?

01:32 If you think about it, in just over a month away or previously,

01:35 was the NBA draft, and rookies within, say, two weeks were drafted

01:39 and then had to move into new markets and then start training camp.

01:42 And in that period, they had to pass COVID protocols.

01:44 I mean, this season really did sneak up on everybody, I think.

01:47 We played just two or three preseason games around the league, and suddenly we are here.

01:51 We're just before Christmas. The whole sports calendar is a little bit altered,

01:55 but we have to dive right into the NBA season, and there is a ton to look forward to.

01:59 Yeah, LeBron, understandably, he's like, "Already? Come on."
