Reggie Miller still can't believe the Clippers collapsed
Transcript
00:00Reggie Miller doesn't buy the Clippers' excuses about not having enough chemistry to win an
00:05NBA championship, and honestly, neither should you.
00:08You know, the Clippers spent all season talking about how they had great chemistry.
00:11Lou Williams scoffed at any chemistry questions.
00:14They ostracized a reporter for bringing up chemistry as an issue.
00:19But at the end of the day, the moment the season ended, Lou Williams brought up chemistry
00:23as an issue.
00:24He said, we did have championship expectations and we had the talent to do it.
00:28We didn't have the chemistry to do it, and it showed.
00:31And Reggie Miller on the Dan Patrick show immediately said, you can't tell me it was
00:34all about chemistry.
00:36Their crosstown rival has a brand new coach.
00:38They got, what, six or seven new players as well?
00:40Every Bradley's not even in the bubble, so everyone is dealing with chemistry in the
00:43restart.
00:44And he's perfectly accurate.
00:46The Denver Nuggets didn't even have enough players to play five on five at the beginning
00:50of the bubble.
00:52Everybody had an issue.
00:53The Clippers never brought up chemistry once until the second they literally lost, which
00:59just shows any type of grasping at straws excuse imaginable.
01:03Whether it's chemistry, whether it's fatigue, you can't use those things.
01:06At the end of the day, all that happened is the Clippers and Doc Rivers failed to adjust
01:12at the end of every single game because they lost every single game the exact same way.
01:16They were up by an average of 15 points from games five to seven.
01:20You can't go up 16, 19, and 12 and lose all three games in the same exact way.
01:26And that's what they did.
01:27So they didn't adjust and the team flat out choked from top to bottom on every single
01:32person in the team.
01:33It wasn't a chemistry issue.
