Kawhi isn't taking the Denver Nuggets lightly.
Transcript
00:00A lot of people are sleeping on the Denver Nuggets chances to defeat the LA Clippers
00:04in the second round of the playoffs.
00:06Kawhi Leonard isn't taking them lightly.
00:09When we asked him about what's he paying attention to with this Denver Nuggets team, one of the
00:13things he pointed out was their will to win.
00:16And that's something that people need to take into account when it comes to Denver.
00:19They might not have the same skill level, they might not have the same talent as the
00:22Clippers, but their will to win right now is they just came off of an emotional, immeasurable
00:27three-to-one deficit comeback.
00:30They're the 12th team in NBA history to do so, and that gives you a certain type of momentum
00:35that very few people can have.
00:38The biggest difference, you know, the Clippers may have stomped the Nuggets in February and
00:41seem like, oh, they can handle them.
00:43The biggest difference between the Nuggets in February to now is the emergence of Michael
00:46Porter Jr.
00:47And we don't know how much he's going to play, but when we spoke to Porter Jr. on a conference
00:53call today, he mentioned he's looking forward to facing the Clippers because of the fact
00:56that they passed him up for Jerome Robinson.
00:59So it looks like he wants to have a revenge series against the team.
01:03Now the conference semifinals begins tomorrow, and it'll be interesting to see if the Nuggets
01:08can, you know, get enough energy to keep up with the Clippers.
