00:00It's been a while since Montrezl Harrell played an NBA game, since March 10th to be exact,
00:05and unfortunately he won't play again until the LA Clippers begin their first-round playoffs
00:09against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.
00:11According to ESPN's Ohm Young-Sook, Harrell will clear quarantine on Monday, more than
00:16a week after he returned to the bubble, and will be eligible to play in Game 1 of that
00:20series.
00:21LA's Star Reserve traveled with the team to the bubble earlier last month, but left on
00:25July 17th due to a family emergency.
00:29Unfortunately while Harrell was away, his grandmother did pass away, which led to his
00:32extended absence from the team.
00:34Given Harrell's lack of reps, it'll be interesting to see how much he's used in the Clippers'
00:37first playoff game against Dallas.
00:40Coach Doc Rivers has said that he won't hesitate to throw Harrell right back into the mix,
00:43but obviously will have his limitations.
00:45On the year, Harrell is averaging a career-high 18.6 and 7-point rebounds, and just about
00:5029 minutes a game, good enough for him to be named a finalist for this year's Sixth
00:55Man of the Year award, along with teammate Lou Williams.
00:59Together that duo puts up a little under 40 points a night for a bench that has led the
01:02league in scoring all year.
01:10LA will need that scoring against Dallas, too.
01:12The Mavericks aren't great on defense, but they do have the league's best offensive rating
01:17and score 117 points per game, which currently ranks third in the NBA.
01:22Game one between the Clippers and Mavericks takes place on Monday, August 17 at 9 p.m.
01:26Eastern.
01:27That contest will air on ESPN and Fox Sports Prime Ticket as well.
