Doc Rivers says the Clippers have been inconsistent

00:00Doc Rivers says the LA Clippers have been inconsistent in the bubble, and he's not wrong.
00:05The Clippers have been a largely frustrating team to watch in the bubble, going 3-3 overall.
00:11Their three wins are against the Pelicans, the Mavericks, and the Blazers, and their three
00:16losses are against the Lakers, the Suns, and the Nets. Two of those three are under 500 teams,
00:21which were supposed to be their easiest team on the schedule. And in terms of the Blazers,
00:27it was a team they were practically trying to lose against. They didn't play Paul George in
00:32the fourth in the closing minutes, they didn't play any starters in the fourth,
00:35and they rested Kawhi Leonard, and still managed to win. And so when you look at everything they've
00:41done, it's been kind of frustrating because the team has played with a flip-the-switch mentality.
00:46In those losses against the Suns and the Nets, they tried to flip the switch on at certain times
00:50instead of just playing a good 48 minutes. Even against the Lakers, they didn't play a good 48
00:55minutes. All the Clippers need to do is play a good 48 minutes, and they're not doing that.
01:01Dark Rivers mentioned, I think we've been inconsistent. We've had a lot of guys in
01:05and out. Obviously not the way you would plan on heading into the playoffs, but it is what it is.
01:10And a large reason why the Clippers have been inconsistent is because their roster has been
01:15inconsistent. They've had up to six players missing during the bubble during training camp,
01:19and still have key players missing during the seeding games, and they need Montrezl
01:24back sooner than later.
