Patrick Beverley sets his goals inside NBA bubble

00:00 Patrick Beverly is getting himself ready to win an NBA championship. While inside

00:06 the bubble, Beverly posted a picture on his Instagram story of a couple of

00:10 post-it notes that gave him a reminder of what his goals are inside the bubble.

00:14 One included winning an NBA championship, another one included getting closer to

00:19 God, another one included in thinking only positive thoughts, and the last one

00:24 was making sure he remembers he's a killer on defense. And so you're gonna

00:29 see more and more little tidbits of what players are doing to make sure they stay

00:33 focused inside of the bubble. And at one point Beverly mentioned that the bubble

00:38 is what you make it, and that's exactly what he's doing right now. He's making

00:43 sure he comes out of the bubble. It's a special time where players are gonna

00:46 have three months to get closer to themselves and to their teammates, which

00:50 they probably won't have again. And so in that time he needs to make sure he comes

00:55 out a better person, and that's something that I think a lot of players are gonna

00:58 struggle with. And they're gonna try and figure out what can they do to be a

01:01 better person. And so you're gonna see these statements that Giannis made and

01:05 Adam Silver made about how there shouldn't be an asterisk but a gold star

01:10 on this season. A lot of that's gonna come more and more into fruition as you

01:14 see the kind of mental preparation players have had in this bubble.
