00:09According to Senator J.B. Ernesto, the operation of Belkenz Pharma Inc. has a multilevel marketing scheme with doctors as investors.
00:17Doctors have incentives such as bonuses, luxury goods and trips abroad.
00:24Doctors are also allowed to drive luxury cars, according to Senator Jingo Estrada.
00:29Belkenz also agreed that they do not violate any law.
00:33The check that was shown in the hearing is not a commission, but a discount that was given to the doctor.
00:39The luxury car is not an incentive, but was bought by the doctor from their company.
00:45Belkenz admitted that doctors have trips abroad, but it is for additional income and skills upgrading.
00:52The Department of Health, Professional Regulation Commission and other medical associations are also investigating the issue.
