00:00My only vision was to bake and to bake for a living and within that what was

00:18implied was the reason baking was my answer was because I wanted to be on the

00:27move I like to be on my feet I wanted to be creative all things that were a

00:31little against the grain at least for the way the way that my folks raised me

00:35and what they thought being passionate about your profession meant right but I

00:41knew that I wanted to professionalize myself in an environment where the ball

00:47was always bouncing around and there was always opportunity for me to bounce

00:52around with it not in a vision not in a lack of vision way or a lack of direction

00:59way not in like chasing a ball like a golden retriever but rather that I had

01:03the opportunity to not just say it's this straight and narrow path and that's

01:08all there is to it and to this day I'm not going anywhere by any stretch of the

01:13imagination but to this day I'll play the game in my head of like okay if I if if

01:18I retired what would that my answer just continues to be this I'd bake right if

01:23something were to ever happen anywhere but the change were to ever come in my

01:27life what would I do what would I do differently what do I want what would I

01:30want to do that I'm not doing right now right my answer is basically just do the

01:34thing you're doing now like and I think that in my older age is really

01:39reinforcing right that that what I've been building to in this idea of like

01:44following the things that get you expect get me excited they get you

01:48excited to get you up in the morning that those things add they build up they

01:53add on they build on to making it seem like you've done all this stuff but it's

01:57not about checking a box it's just a collection of you know great family

02:01members great friends great people in your life or this great business that's

02:06a totality of those things but it all goes back to bake for me it all goes

02:09back to baking and the inherent like spirit of baking
