00:00Hi, I'm Mohammed Al-Balushi, I'm the CEO at the IFC Innovation Hub, which is the Fintech

00:14Hub for the city of Dubai and it also oversees the Dubai AI campus.

00:20I think from our perspective as the IFC and I think the wider Dubai AI strategy, it's

00:26very clear we want to become a world leader and we want to make sure that anyone that

00:31thinks AI looks at Dubai, looks at the Dubai AI campus, and I think it's reflected across

00:39government institutions, private sector as well, there's a lot of time and investment

00:46made into the development of this sector and you can see it, be it the Dubai AI campus,

00:52be it the Chief AI Officer's Programme and many other initiatives that are kind of pushing

00:56this mandate.

00:57I think if you look at it, it's a very friendly ecosystem, jurisdiction, it's bubbling, it's

01:06growing a lot, it's attracting some of the global players and I think anyone that is

01:11looking for a jurisdiction where people are curious about AI, where everyone wants to

01:17look at AI and wants to see, wants to test, I think we want to call upon them, to invite

01:25them to Dubai, to Dubai AI campus, we want them to get in touch with us and hopefully

01:30work with us in shaping the sector.

01:33There's a lot of support and more importantly, there's a lot of demand.

01:36AI companies, of course, they want to work with other AI companies or other institutions,

01:42the market is looking for cool technologies, it's hungry for solutions, so yeah, it's an open invitation.
